General Accident retain title
-

Defending champions General Accident successfully retained the Locker Room Sports/Business House Super League netball title, following an exciting 39-32 win over Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS), at the National Indoor Sports Complex on Saturday
However, BNS did not leave empty-handed as they won the Senior ‘B’ League crown, with a 39-30 win over RBTT.
Renee Betton of BNS was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the final.

ATL won intermediate title
In other finals, Appliance Traders Limited won the Intermediate title by defeating National Water Commission 36-31, NEM Insurance captured the Intermediate ‘B’ crown after stopping Guardian 23-22 and Aerotel won the Junior League by edging Transport Authority 22-20.
General Accident’s victory avenged a 37-34 defeat to BNS two weeks ago and according to player/coach Oberon Pitterson, it was a job well done.
“I think this was total team effort because we had our game plan and the ladies executed well,” said Pitterson, who is a former national player and coach.
“I believe it was a hard fought game because every time we played against them it gets harder and we have to keep making the necessary adjustments in order to beat them.”
Pitterson added: “I was expecting the margin of victory to be more because I think if our attack was smooth from the beginning it would have been a larger score.”
