General Accident beat Police in Open League netball

FORMER champions General Accident defeated Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) 25-10 to move closer towards a berth in the final of the 2010 Wisynco-sponsored Business House Netball Association (BHNA) Open League competition at the Leila Robinson Courts last Saturday.

The insurance company leads Group ‘B’ and could cement their place atop the standing after their next game against Jamaica Broilers on Thursday.

Also winning their opening game in the play-off were Scotiabank ‘B’, who defeated Guardian Life 23-14 in Group ‘A’. The bankers’ next encounter will be against Scotiabank ‘A’ also on Thursday to determine the winner of the group who will advance to the final.
