Inclusive of the listing of General Accident Insurance Company Jamaica Limited today, companies have been able to raise $1.9 billion dollar on the Junior Market. The listing of General Accident is also significant in that it is the twelfth company being listed, which shows the confidence that small and medium sized companies have in the Junior Market. General Accident has the distinction of being the first insurance company to be listed on the Junior Market and the fourth listing for the year.
